We all have things we've done in the past of which we are ashamed and we carry a burden of guilt on our shoulders every single day. However, that's not what Jesus wants for us. He wants us to live our lives with a clear conscience. How can we have a clean conscience when we know we've done sinful things? The answer is the best news ever!

Jesus ushered in a new covenant at the cross and through that covenant, we know that God will change our hearts, we will belong to Him, we will know Him, and He will be merciful toward our failures.

Jesus came to do what the Law could never do - make us right with God! Nevertheless, we often exhaust ourselves trying to conform to a list of religious rules and lose intimacy with Jesus in the process. Our great high priest has something much better than that for us!
