We live in a troubled world and among a people with a troubled spirit. However, Jesus gives us a peace that passes all human understanding that can never be taken away from us.

God rejoices over His people and he commands His people to rejoice. Joy is a powerful fruit of the Spirit in our lives. If you're tired and weary, you need joy because the joy of the Lord is our strength.

Jesus said that He came to give life and that the life He gives would be an abundant life. The abundant life of the believer is marked by the fullness of the fruit of the Spirit, as listed by the Apostle Paul in Galatians 5. The first earmark of the believer is love.
