On the eve of his betrayal by Judas, Jesus promised his confused and fearful disciples a pathway to heaven and power from heaven.
Jesus prepares his disciples for the monumental changes that are coming because of His death on the cross. The disciples, however, are disturbed because Jesus tells them that they cannot go where He is going.
