We often feel frustrated with ourselves and with our lives when we try to live our lives in our own power, but when we learn to keep in step with the Spirit, He moves us from frustration to fullness.

We often struggle in our prayer lives because of our human frailties. The good news is that the Holy Spirit wants to partner with us in prayer and He has the power to make a huge difference!

Jesus didn't give the gift of the Holy Spirit to the church to make believers feel good or to make much of ourselves. The power of the Holy Spirit is a gift that has been given to empower followers of Jesus to make a difference in the world around us.

The crowds were amazed at the events that took place on the Day of Pentecost. They were amazed at what they were hearing from these uneducated disciples. What made them so compelling? It was their encounter with the Holy Spirit that made them into amazing people.

Have you ever felt disappointed with yourself? Our disappointment with ourselves can become a launching pad to find the dynamic life that the Holy Spirit brought to the disciples in the upper room on the Day of Pentecost.
