After a lifetime of adventure and faith with her husband, Abraham, Sarah dies and Abraham purchases property that will serve as a family burial tomb for many ages to come. Sarah's faith became sight and she left a legacy of faith for her son, Isaac.

A few years after Isaac, the promised child, was born, Abraham faced a pivotal moment in his journey of faith. It was the most faith-filled, yet frightening moment any of us could imagine as God asked Abraham to lay his Isaac on the altar pf sacrifice.

God forgives sin freely because of His grace and because of the atoning sacrifice of Christ. However, often the consequences of sin linger in our lives and in the lives of the people around us.

After twenty-five years of waiting, the time for the fulfillment of God's promise to Abraham and Sarah had come. Their experience teaches us a lot about God's promises and how He works to fulfill them in our lives.
