I could wish for many, many things for you for Christmas, but when I wish you Jesus, I wish you everything.

When Jesus made the statement that He was the light of the world, it was again a massive, blatant claim to be the Messiah that had been promised of old. In addition to that, His claim has very real consequences for us today as we navigate a world gone haywire.

When the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary to announce that she had found favor with God and had been chosen to give birth to the long-awaited Messiah, Mary responded with faith, humility, and obedience. Now it's our turn to experience the favor and the power of God. Like Mary, we have to respond to God's call with faith, humility, and obedience.

The Pharisees tried to lay a trap for Jesus by bringing a woman caught in the act of adultery to Jesus in order for Him to pass judgment on her. However, Jesus did the unexpected and sent the self-righteous men away embarrassed and ashamed.

The Christmas season has become one of the most hectic and stressful times of the year. There are so many different things that scream for our attention. It is important to take some time to remember what really matters. In Luke 10, Jesus reminds Martha that there's only one thing that's necessary. Listen as Pastor Dave talks about that one thing.

When different people with different gifts from different backgrounds come together in unity in the body of Christ, a dynamic synergy happens and the church working together can do far, far more than what any of the individual members could do separately.
