The First Epistle of John
The apostle John wrote to the early church to both encourage believers in Godly living, as well as strongly refute false teaching. In this letter, John encourages the believers as children of God to demonstrate their love for God by loving one another in sacrificial ways and obeying the will of God in avoiding sin and living righteously.
