The book of Zechariah has more specific prophesies about the coming of the Messiah than all the other prophets. He speaks words of encouragement for the people of Israel at the time of his ministry, and he speaks words of encouragement for us today.

One of the keys to a successful walk with Christ is forgetting the past and pressing toward the future. However, there are some things that the Bible says we should remember. Our problem is that we often forget what we should remember and remember what we should forget. To move forward in Christ, we need to remember the goodness and faithfulness of God and allow that to encourage us as we press on toward the future.
