Jesus promised His followers that they would have life, and that life would be an abundant life. Living that life proves difficult due to our sinful nature. The good news, however, is that God's love and mercies are new every day and they will never cease.

The events that took place while Jesus was on the cross fulfilled multiple Old Testament prophecies concerning the coming Messiah. They also completed the work of Christ to redeem fallen mankind.

In John 10, Jesus describes himself as the Good Shepherd. However, most of us don't really know what a shepherd in 1st-century Israel did, so we don't really know what Jesus is saying about himself. When we learn what Jesus was really saying about himself and our relationship with Him, our hearts overflow with gratitude!
