Romans 8:28 promises that God causes all things to work together for our good if we love Him and are called according to His purpose. That promise becomes an anchor for our lives when we're faced with difficult or devastating circumstances because we know He's going to bring something good...even when we don't understand what's going on.
After a lifetime of adventure and faith with her husband, Abraham, Sarah dies and Abraham purchases property that will serve as a family burial tomb for many ages to come. Sarah's faith became sight and she left a legacy of faith for her son, Isaac.
A few years after Isaac, the promised child, was born, Abraham faced a pivotal moment in his journey of faith. It was the most faith-filled, yet frightening moment any of us could imagine as God asked Abraham to lay his Isaac on the altar pf sacrifice.
